Over 1,500,000 electrical drain fittings are installed in electrical raceway systems each year. These drain fittings help expel vapor and condensation that tends to form on the interior body of these conduit raceways. In nearly every one of these applications a traditional conduit outlet bodies and drain fitting attachments are used. They are installed at a low points within the raceways so the condensate can move naturally to the low point where it is expelled from the interior of the system through the drain.

Electrical contractors are required to take proper measures to either stop liquid from accumulating or allow for proper draining to avoid potential electrical hazards. This means virtually every outdoor commercial electrical raceway system requires one, or several, condensate drains.

Installing these condensate drains is one of the most time consuming and labor-intensive aspects of raceway installations. In many instances, additional permitting, tools and resources are required, all of which slows production.

For far to long electrical contractors have been limited to the tools and methods of condensate drain installation. The process  installation of condensate drains is ineffective, inefficient and expensive. That is, until now...
